SRK with i10

The Hyundai i10 Electric is a production ready model with zero emissions that will go on sale on the company's home market in the second half of 2010.

In place of the 1.1 or 1.2 litre petrol engines which power the Hyundai i10, in India and overseas, the i10 Electric will be powered by a 49kW (66.6 PS) electric motor under the hood and driving its front wheels.

Shah Rukh Khan launched the new version of Hyundai's i10 car in New Delhi at the ongoing Auto Expo. The Korean auto giant made public the electric version of its compact car 'i10'

Hyundai Motor India already has a strong line-up of alternate fuel technology like: Santro CNG & LPG, Accent CNG & LPG and i10 CNG in India. The unveiling of the i10 Electric further reconfirms Hyundai's commitment to develop environmentally friendly cars for the global automobile market.
